COMPETITION FORMATS:The Pinner Plate (PBCVS and Harrow Cine and Video Society): Each Club presents a programme of movies up to a maximum of 40 minutes screen time. A Judge decides on the better programme. The Pickett Plate (PBCVS and St. Albans Movie Makers): Each Club shows one movie each in up to five different categories. The Judges mark each movie, and the team with the higher total mark wins. The Roy Wainwright Trophy (PBCVS and Wanstead & Woodford Cine & Video Club): Each Club shows one movie each in up to five different categories. The Judges mark each movie, and the team with the higher total mark wins. The North Thames IAC Annual Triangle Knockout Competition (PBCVS is drawn against 2 other Clubs in the 1st Round, and progresses if successful): Each Club shows a movie in each of 3 categories (Documentary, Open and Story).The judges mark each movie, and the Club with the highest total progresses to the next round. The Hertfordshire Amateur Cine Clubs Association (HACCA) Shield. (PBCVS and all the other Herts. Clubs): Each Club has 25 minutes screen time. The judges choose the best movie of the evening. |
